Nothing beats the aroma of freshly baked bread!

Nothing beats the aroma of freshly baked bread…judging by the way the baguettes, tiger rolls, Mediterranean loaves and delicious pastries are flying out of Hollins Green Community Shop. Bread orders can now be taken and be ready for you within the hour. The shop plan to expand their freshly baked range over the coming months.

Julie Atkinson, shop manager, thanks all who use and support the shop on a regular basis. Although sales are on the up, the importance of increasing sales further to help sustain the shop was discussed at a recent Annual General Meeting – minutes of the meeting and annual accounts can be viewed by clicking  https://rixtonwithglazebrook.net/locations/hollins-green-community-shop/

In order to attract further custom, the staff would love non-users to give feedback on why they don’t currently use the shop and what would attract them to do so, by posting their suggestions in the letter box at the side of the shop.

More volunteers are still needed, especially during the holiday period, if interested contact Julie on 0161 775 7022.

Due to the popularity of the last year’s shop’s fundraiser the committee are looking to hold another one in the Summer and another in November – dates to be confirmed.
