Pre-School aims to add festive cheer this Christmas!

Our local Pre-School is trying new and inventive ways to raise money this year as most of their usual events are not able to happen during the pandemic.

During the week beginning 11th December there will be a trail around Rixton-with-Glazebrook to judge the “Most Festive Front Garden”. Residents can enter their garden into the competition by making a donation of £5 – the top 3 gardens, as voted for by local residents, will all win a prize. A map showing the entered gardens will be available online so that families can enjoy a festive tour and vote for their favourite.

Another new fundraising idea this year is the silent auction.  Thanks to the donation of gifts from many local residents and businesses the second silent auction is currently live with many lots available to be bid for via email.  Full details of the current auction can be found on Pre-School’s facebook page https://www.facebook.com/RWGpreschool/ – perhaps you will find the perfect Christmas gift at a bargain price!
