Community Hall was location for several Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022

The parish of Rixton-with-Glazebrook held a fun-packed weekend celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The newly refurbished Community Hall in the centre of the parish was occupied over 3 days hosting various Jubilee related events including: Afternoon Cream Tea, Lovely Jubbly Band Concert, a Royal Command Performance and a picnic. All events were well attended and enjoyed by hundreds. There was also a Jubilee Treasure Hunt with related hand-painted stones for children to find.

What a great way for the community to celebrate a 70yr reign…..Thank You Ma’am!
