‘Shine the Light’ project moves forward

Following backing from the Parish Council the ‘Shine the Light’ project has moved one step forward. Plans have been drawn up and submitted to Warrington Borough Council for planning permission to install 4 ground level lights in the road around the Cenotaph edging stones in order to gently uplight the war memorial.

Several fundraising events have taken place to raise the necessary funds for the project.
