Parish Defibrillator locations 2026

Following the latest installation of another Defibrillator in the parish, the Community Plan Group have produced a Defib map to highlight to Rixton-with-Glazebrook residents where the nearest one is to where they live or to the facilities they frequent.

The latest Defib located at Rixton Methodist Chapel on Chapel Lane was funded by the Community Plan Group, Parish Council and several local businesses. The total cost, including installation parts, was £1773 so a massive thank you to the following for their kind contributions:

£300 Community Plan Group / £300 Rixton-with-Glazebrook Parish Council / £193 Collier Industrial Waste / £100 JL Enterprise Park / £450 The Masonic Order (£150 Province of Cheshire and North Wales, £150 Province of West Lancashire and Province of East Lancashire) / £100 Prospray (Andrew Lennie) / £70 Garage 57 (Jim Cotton) / £70 Joc Building Services (John O’Connor) / £90 Blundell’s Fishery / £100 Moat Lane Cafe.
