Hollinfare Cemetery gets a face lift!

Hollinfare Cemetery looks fantastic thanks to the generous Friends volunteers who work hard at monthly action days, and in-between, to improve the look and feel of the Cemetery.

In May the group were delighted to receive voluntary support from Gleeds Environmental, Birchwood who liaised with WBC Bereavement Services to offer their help.  Gleed sent a team of ten staff to clean the front fencing and prepare and paint the old front railings and gates.  What a difference they made in just a day, and they provided the materials and tools too!  Our thanks to the team.

The Friends group can always do with more helping hands!  If you enjoy being outdoors and can spare an hour or two, then please pop along to any of the action days held on the last Saturday of the month Feb to Nov between 10am – 1pm.  All equipment and tools provided, simply go along or call Mandy  on 07767 075211.
