Organised by the Parish Plan Recreation and Leisure Group the 4.5 mile guided circular walk leaves the Black Swan car park at 10am prompt.

The walk is on level terrain and will explore the rural footpaths in Rixton before heading over Cadishead Moss – strong footwear recommended. The route takes in some railway heritage of the district as well as several pieces of urban art on the return stretch along Liverpool Road.

The walk has been organised to celebrate and share a recently published new walk entitled ‘Cadishead Railway, Moss and Urban Art Trail’.  For those wishing to explore the route independently FREE walk leaflets are available, courtesy of Hamilton Davies Trust. Leaflets can be picked up from Hamilton Davies House, Cadishead Library, the Village Shop, Black Swan and Red Lion pubs in Hollins Green and Glazebrook Post Office.
