4th ‘Drop & Go’ a huge success

Following previous successes, the Rixton-with-Glazebrook Community Plan Group decided to hold their 4th ‘Drop & Go’ food donation weekend from Fri 10th – Sun 12th Dec.

Drop off points were located around the Parish and posters and Facebook messages shared to identify useful items to donate.

All donations went to the Irlam & Cadishead Foodbank, who were overwhelmed with the abundance of useful items – over 600 in total.

Well done to all who kindly donated, especially at such a special time of year…the season of giving!
