Parish News – December 2020 edition

As 2020 comes to a close, the Coronavirus pandemic still blights the world and has dramatically overtaken all of our lives. It is at times like these that people turn their attention to helping each other and show great community spirit.

This Parish newsletter has been produced by the Rixton-with-Glazebrook Community Plan Group, and funded by the Parish Council, in order to try to keep residents connected and to share the good news stories of what Parish groups, individuals and volunteers have been doing throughout the Parish in the past six months.

It is sad to think that our parish school, Pre-school, churches, pubs and all of our many community groups have had to cease or curtail their services and social activities for such a long period. With positive news of vaccines on the horizon we can all look forward, with renewed hope, to 2021 to a time when we can  freely socialise once again. Contact details for all groups and facilities are included in the Parish newsletter for future reference.

Copies are freely available to pick up from the Community Village Shop or the Black Swan in Hollins Green. An online version can be viewed or downloaded by clicking on the pdf below.
