Probus Club of Irlam
The Probus movement started in 1965 and is a local association of retired and semi-retired professional business people who are of character and are respected within their communities.
An amalgam of the abbreviation of ‘professional’ and ‘business’, the Gentlemen’s Club meet regularly for fellowship and an extension of their interests.
Probus Irlam meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month at Lady James’ Hall, Irlam from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Renowned for their informality the Probus meetings consist of a rendezvous for morning coffee followed by a talk by an invited speaker on a topic of interest to the members.
The group is open to retired men for a membership cost of £20 per year.
