Community Hall Survey results

Rixton-with-Glazebrook residents and facility users have recently been consulted on the current and future usage and maintenance of The Community Hall in Hollins Green.  1200 surveys were sent out to residents and facility users and 228 completed surveys were received, giving a 19% participation result – which is a good response rate.

The Hall was built in 1972 and has gone from being a hub of activity to, more recently, an under-used resource.  Due to its current condition and high maintenance cost, there have been discussions about refurbishing, altering or rebuilding the Hall. The Management Committee, as part of their consideration towards planning for the Hall’s future, asked for residents and Hall users views.

The completed surveys have been analysed – the results can be seen by clicking on the pdf below.
